Trust Company of the Ozarks was established to insure that the people of the Ozarks would have local trust and investment management professionals available to personally meet their specific and unique needs. The Trust Company received its charter from the Commissioner of Finance for the State of Missouri and opened its doors to the public on April 20, 1998, based upon the principles of meticulous service, strict ethics, and a conscientious commitment to the well-being of its clients.

The Trust Company has been fortunate in being able to select only the most highly qualified trust professionals for its staff. These individuals specialize in trust and investment planning, administration, and portfolio management. They have a proven track record of taking a personal interest in their clients, and they are dedicated to providing them with the highest level of trust and investment management services possible. As testimony to their practices and beliefs, The Trust Company currently has trust account assets in excess of $420 million which it manages in a variety of capacities for its clients.

The Trust Company is owned by an exceptionally strong group of regional investors, including twenty local banks and bank holding companies. It is led by an involved Board of Directors who reflect the strength and commitment of The Trust Company to the Ozarks region.

The Trust Company provides solutions for clients through its portfolio managers, administrators, and planning officers in the following ways:

  1. Investments: Our portfolio managers bring professional management to clients' portfolios with customized strategies including asset allocation, advice regarding the tax ramifications of investment decisions, and a disciplined investment process based upon the principles of the Missouri Prudent Investor Act.
  2. Administration: For many people we manage everything financial for their family. We collect retirement and government incomes, pay their household bills, file medical insurance claims, take care of payroll of household employees, manage real estate, prepare tax information, collect notes and generally handle all of their financial needs.
  3. Trust and Investment Planning: Planning officers analyze and discuss estate and investment planning issues. They apply financial principles to each unique situation and help coordiate the activities required to help clients reach their financial and estate planning goals.
